What? It's never too early to start the hype machine and Universal has never been shy to get the word out early for their fans either. Though, with Monsterpalooza in just a couple of weeks, it's no surprise that they're putting some details out there.
So, what do we know? Well, they only really released the codename for one of the mazes. For those that don't know the codenames tend to be vague or somehow relate to things, but maybe not in the ways you think. The first name out there for 2014? "Malcolm".
Murdy did go into a little more detail about it, but still extremely vauge:
The code name for the 1st maze is "Malcolm" Why? Well the hint is specific to a famous Malcolm...it will all make sense later. Stay Tuned

Just what Malcolm is he talking about? Could it be Malcolm McDowell that he's referencing, he has done a serious amount of horror in the past years and some would be pretty interesting franchises to craft into a maze. While it's probably too obvious, and Murdy does love to mislead folks, let's look at a few movies McDowell has done recently that would work.
There's of course the remakes of Halloween and Halloween 2, but also some lesser known work like Silent Hill: Revelation, Silent Night, Evilenko (though that could be too dark for even Universal), and Sanitarium are all on the table there. Again, no clue if any of those are there, but they are all horror flicks and while Silent Hill would be a rehash, it could still happen again too.
Also, in an interesting twist, it seems as if this one could possibly come to both Halloween Horror Nights events. Wouldn't be unheard of as there are always a couple that make an appearance in both Hollywood and Orlando. Either way, guess we'll have to wait and see what, if any, info they give us at Monsterpalooza, Mar 28-30th.
