[Site Update] Something Wicked This Way Comes

Well, it's that time of year again and while the next couple of days will see a huge amount of our content from Anthrocon, we're pretty much shifting gears. It's not unusual and traditionally we focus on convention coverage the first half of the year and more haunt related stuff the second half. So far this year we only managed to get a small handful of conventions, but weather and other issues prevented us from getting to a couple of others, hopefully next year we have an easier time of things.

That said, we are going to try and do a couple of conventions later in the year like Nekocon or Youmacon, but we'll see how that goes and how things are going after this year's Haunt Tour since we're going pretty big with that this time around.

We're already putting together this year's list of attractions for the tour and we're going to do our best to hit even more than last year. Carrie and I managed to get to 20 in 2013 and we're hoping to get to at least 30, maybe even 40, this season. Yeah, that was our goal last year too, but weather and other things conspired against us. There will be some revisiting going on as we're eager to see the changes made by some of the local haunts and of course we'll be going back to our award winners from last season to give them a fair shake against the new competition this year too.
