[TV]/Iron Chef

Well it seems that Japan just couldn't get enough Iron Chef. To be honest, neither could the US for that matter, while the US version was alright I don't feel it could stack up against the original. There was no quirkiness to it or insanity. The original was a delightful quest of culinary perfection with ingredients that were not only exotic but down right bizarre much of the time.

At this time there is no word if the Chairman will be coming back to assume his role in Kitchen Stadium or if it will be one of his many relatives. Either way, we can hope whoever it is has the same insane love for that grand culinary arena.

That said, I'm really hoping that someone is smart enough to dub this and bring it over as fast as possible to us in the states. Why? All I have to say is Sakai beating a still living octopus with a daikon radish, that's why!

You can catch all the action starting this October in Japan!
