Well, seems as if the laptop gods have frowned upon my aging Qosmio here. This morning it stopped finding networks to connect to and now the sound is completely dead. These are just new problems in a long list that have stayed to develop over the last 6 months or so.
I'm not sure what's going on to be honest, but at the moment I'm backing everything up on our external, just in case.
That said, I'm typing this out on my phone as it's really the only way to post here for the most part. So, until things get sorted...things are likely to be a bit more quiet than usual around here. I'm hoping to have this sorted soon and that it's not a major issue. Since I'm not sure what's wrong, this could be a day thing...or much longer until a replacement can be gotten.

UPDATE: Things seem to working fine again, some system settings got tweaked. No clue what that was all about. Wonder if the latest update had something to do with it. Either way, was only a small problem thankfully!
