It's just two weeks until the annual Furry take over of downtown Pittsburgh happens once again from July 3rd thru July 6th. We had a blast covering the convention last year and will be doing the same, but this year they're making it a bit easier for us and those who can't be there by live streaming all of the main events from this year's AC!
Yep, that's right, all of the main events and even dances will be streamed live by the convention itself on a special page they've set up just for it on their website. What kinds of things can you expect to air on live.anthrocon.org? Glad ya asked, because they already have the full schedule out!
As you can see, they definitely have things fully planned out and that schedule has some great stuff on it. Hopefully this also makes it easier for folks who are there and just can't get in, or happen to be relaxing in their rooms at the time, to get a glimpse of some events going on a swell.
Either way, I'm definitely excited that they're doing this for 2014 and hoping that they continue to do so in the future. There's no word yet if they'll be archiving the footage on YouTube or some other service, but maybe if we're lucky they will so people will get to enjoy it long after the convention!
Anthrocon starts in less than two weeks and myself, +Carrie H.C., +Alexandra F and +Madeline Actrice will be in attendance to cover all of the insanity as usual.
