[Haunts] Terror Behind the Walls Announces Two New Attractions for 2015 - Quarantine 4D and Break Out!

Never one to rest on their laurels, the crew behind Eastern State Penitentiary's Terror Behind the Walls has announced two new attractions for their 2015 season. This juggernaut of an event is celebrating it's 25th year of terror and they're gonna pull out all the stops to make this one a year to remember.

This year Break Out and Quarantine 4D join the line up,  but that does mean a couple of the six sections are going to go by the wayside too. To make way for these two new attractions they've gotten rid of The Experiment 3D as well as Night Watch. Not so sure I feel about losing that one, but the former definitely could use an update/refresh.

Last year's new addition, The Machine Shop, is back as well as Lock Down, Detritus, Lock Down and The Infirmary. Overall, not a bad line up for this year at all. So, anyway, let's get to the new stuff already, shall we?

First up, Quarantine 4D.

"Inside Quarantine: 4D, visitors learn of an infectious outbreak, whose symptoms include hallucinations, blurry vision, distorted depth perception, and other mind-altering effects. Flat walls appear to have depth, creatures emerge from (seemingly) nowhere, and some brave visitors will be challenged to face their worst fears."

From the looks of things, it appears that this one could be taking a page from The Experiment and it's glorious insanity. We'll have to wait and see how similar it is, that 4D thing has me intrigued, and just what's been improved.

And now for the other new attraction for this year's event, Break Out.

Listed as the "final attraction" for Terror Behind the Walls, you'll have to survive the insanity for any hope of escape. Here's the official rundown;

"Just when visitors think they have found freedom, they find themselves in the middle of a prison break! Inmates surround them using every way imaginable to escape, including barrels, ropes, tunnels, ladders and crates. Visitors must keep an eye out at every corner, as inmates may even be using them to aid in their attempt to gain freedom."

Have a feeling this is one is gonna be a ton of fun, especially if you take the more interactive experience option from the start of things. Can't wait to see what sort of chaos they have planned for this one.

So there ya have it, the new additions for this year's Terror Behind the Walls at Eastern State Pennitentiary. Last year they came ever so close to taking home our Best Overall Haunt award. Perhaps these two additions will push them over the top? Only time will tell. We really did have a blast and it's true, the creative team and actors put on one helluva show.

This year's event starts with a preview weekend of sorts on September 18th and 19th, tickets are just $13 a person that weekend, and then reopens again October 1st and runs on select nights through Nov 1st. Back again is the popular REMIX on November 6th and 7th as well, for those willing to take on the challenge of Terror Behind the Walls with the lights out.

Tickets are on sale now, ranging from $13 to $39 (online prices) and if you're planning on going, I'd recommend it, this one can sell out and the lines can, and do, get insane. Head on over to the Terror Behind the Walls site for those, can buy them here, and of course all the rest of the information on this year's event.

And there ya have it. Everything we know on the event, and you can be sure that we'll be on hand to see for ourselves just what they have in store for the 2015 season at some point during this year's Haunt Tour. So, stay tuned for more haunt news, reviews and rants as Haunt Season is almost upon us!
