[Gaming]/Rayman Legends

Well, it should be of no surprise that the ire of Rayman fans (myself somewhat included in that) was at least somewhat heard by the folks at Ubisoft over their decision to hold the game back until Sept. Their Facebook page was lit up by thousands of fans over the past week and considering that even the Montpelier devs were in on it too...it's not surprising that something was done.

One thing that they seem keen on doing is adding even more content to the game. New levels, bosses, characters, etc. So, this may not be so bad if the game that comes out is packed with even more. That said, some will probably still be upset that the full game isn't out yet...

The "demo" that Ubisoft had mentioned on their Facebook page isn't really demo at all, however. It's the entire online challenge mode that was part of the game. Something that they developers say that even they will be playing online as well. What is it exactly? There are 5 unique worlds, including the Wii U exclusive Dungeon level. Each will have weekly and daily updated challenges for players to get through, using a variety of gameplay styles. These will have online leader boards, ghosts from other players and supports the touted 5 players at once function on the Wii U as well.

Either way...let's let the developers explain it...I'm sure they'll do a better job than I have...

This will be available for free for Wii U users in April.
