[Anime]/Aiura - In Session This Spring

To continue with the shows that we'll be watching in a couple of weeks around here, let's move to yet another 4 panel anime adaptation. Aiura, the show about what happens when nothing happens at all in the lives of three "annoying, spirited high school girls with zero motivation".

Originally started on Nico Nico Sengai two years ago and then picked up by 4-Komo Nano Ace (home of Upotte! and My Ordinary Life). The main focus of the series is on three high school girls; Kanaka Amaya, Saki Iwasawa and Ayuko Uehara, as they do...well, not much as one can figure out from the official description.

The show premieres on April 9th at 35min to 1:00 and then every Tuesday after that, according to the show's website. Interestingly enough, it will also be archived on Nico Nico Douga at 40min to 1:00.

The PV for the show has been screened recently, but so far I haven't seen anything online to link to yet. if I do find it before it airs (or even after) I'll make sure to make note of it somewhere around here.

What of the cast for the show and more character designs? After the break with you!

That's a bit interesting, in that each of the principle characters is being voiced by relatively unknown VA's. Most of them have minor roles at best on their resumes but fresh blood in the water is never a bad thing. Who are they? Glad you asked:

Kanaka Amaya - Yui Nakajima
 Saki Iwasawa - Yuko Iida
 Ayuko Uehara - Nao Tamura
