[Haunts] Signs of this Year's Halloween Haunt at Kings Dominion Unearthed

Well, not a ton is known about Kings Dominion's Halloween Haunt this year outside of the dates that it's going to run. However, in a visit last Thursday, it's definitely showing signs of a few things that can be expected for this year...mostly in the form of returning mazes.

That said, there are two new mazes being added into the mix according to in park advertising and there are plenty of other signs of construction going on as well. So much so that it's only a matter of time until the full listing of this year's attractions will be listed.

I do find it a bit strange that they're waiting this long. Busch Gardens Williamsburg is just an hour away and they've already announced everything for their event and many other Cedar Fair parks have done the same.

Either way, let's get on with what we do know for sure this year. Medieval Macabre will be returning along with Slaughter House and Cornstalkers. In addition to this it's fairly well known that Toxic Plague will not be coming back this year and is being replaced with Zombie High. Also, a new maze "Miner's Revenge" will be showing up somewhere in the park as well...not sure if it'll replace anything or not, but seems to be doing just that. What? Not sure.

Anyways, here's a quick look at some of the preparations for this year's event. Admittedly there's not a whole visible as to what's going on, but at least there are a few things that I can share with ya in regards to set up.

While I'm not sure if we'll be making it out for the event this year, you can read about our experience last year to see if this event is for you. I know that we had a pretty good time!

For tickets and other information (as little as it is for now) visit the official Kings Dominion website and be sure to follow on Twitter @KitsuneHazard or Google+ for all the latest updates and a whole lot more. Warning: I don't pay for therapy.
