[Site Update] Road Trips, Media Events and Site Changes

Well, every now and then I like to take a break from all the insanity that's been going on. The past few weeks have been crazier than normal with all of the announcements coming out of the Universal and Busch Gardens parks...not to mention all the other smaller local haunts out there.

That said, I'm going to be on the road for a few days here. Where to? Well, I'm headed down to Busch Gardens Williamsburg and Kings Dominion for a little theme park reviewing fun and to celebrate +Carrie H.C.'s birthday! Always fun and we do like BGW quite a bit, so it's fitting.

Also, we'll be both be checking out how far along things are at both parks for their Halloween events for this year. I haven't heard much out of Kings Dominion regarding their Halloween Haunt and there's been a ton of stuff announced for Busch Gardens Williamsburg's Howl-O-Scream. So much so that it took two pretty huge posts to cover it all (returning stuff - new stuff!).

Another really cool thing that's happened over the past week or so is that Kitsuneverse (as well as our sister site InSanity lurks Inside) has been invited out to the Howl-O-Scream media event at Busch Gardens Williamsburg this year. This is our first go around with something like this from Busch Gardens and from what I hear it's definitely an interesting time.

So, while I'll probably mention this again as we get closer to the event, live tweeting and all other sorts of madness will very likely be happening while we're there on Sept 13th.

I won't even get into the insanity that the Halloween Horror Nights stuff has been...likely you've already seen that stuff, but in case you haven't you can check everything coming to Orlando here and Hollywood here.

There's a new section up at the top of the site as well titled [Haunt Tour 2013] which is still under a bit of construction. As we get closer to haunt season the list of haunted attractions that we plan to review will be finalized and posted up fully. Until then, there's some interesting info there about the whole thing and all that jazz.

You've probably also noticed that the site layout has gotten a bit wider and there's some new stuff to the right as well. I've gone ahead and added in a Twitter feed as well as some ways to get in touch with us easier. Believe it or not, I love talking about the things that I post here all the time and I'm always up for meeting new folks. So, don't be shy but be warned. I don't pay for therapy.

So, that's pretty much that. I may have a post or two up while we're away but I'm not entirely sure yet, really just depends on time. I can guarantee that there will be updates via Google+ (+Kitsune Hazard) and over on Twitter (@KitsuneHazard) so if you're wanting really up to date stuff, those are the best places. Our Tumblr gets a good bit of love too, just not as much as those two when on the road but working on fixing that.
