[Haunts] The Basement at Pittsburgh's ScareHouse Open for One Last Night in 2013!

Tis the season and what better gift than getting the crap scared out of you one more time before the end of the year? I can't think of any and neither does the crew over at Pittsburgh's very own, ScareHouse.

That's right kiddies, they've flung the cellar doors wide open once more and on Saturday, December 28th, The Basement will once again be accepting victims...er um those brave enough to tread through the darkness...from 6-10:15pm.

Tickets for the one night holiday encore of this twisted encounter run $50 (including service fee). Might seem a bit high, but remember that's for up to two people. Better hurry though, time slots are filling up!

Not sure what The Basement is all about? Well, I covered this a while back when it was announced and it's a very personal and intimate scaring experience. Only two people go through at a time, max. Underneath ScareHouse, there is a massive basement.

THE BASEMENT is intended for adult audiences and contains profanity and intense subject matter. You must be 18 or older and must sign waiver before entering.

That pretty much sums it up and you can read their site or our coverage of the announcement to get a better handle o things if you still want more. Either way, I'm glad to see one last night for this event in 2013. While we didn't get a chance to review this experience at ScareHouse when we made our visit back in October (Saturday nights are crazy busy)...we'll be out of state for this one too! (Damn you Scott!)

That said, everyone we have talked to that's gone through said it was an intense and terrifying experience. So, if you're inclined, and looking for something different this holiday season, definitely head over to one of the best haunts in the US for this one night only affair.
