[Haunts] Celebrate the End of Creepmas with the 13th Floor Tonight!

Yep, it's sadly the last day of "Creepmas" and to celebrate, here's a little news for anyone in the Denver or Phoenix areas. Tonight, the 13th Floor haunted attraction in both cities will be open for a good holiday scare this Friday the 13th. Think you're up for it?

However, unlike the Spooky Little Cryptmas event at Castle Blood in PA and Santa's Slay at Brighton Asylum in NJ, both 13th Floor locations don't seem to be getting into the Christmas/holiday spirit with things. No, they're just going for the old "smash and grab" with this one. Nothing wrong with that, just a different way to do things.

I do kind of wish they'd get into the spirit of things a little. Either way, a good twisted Christmas is always good to have around...

So, just what can you expect from two of the top haunts in the country? Well, nothing short of a bit of insanity...so much so that you'll have to sign a waiver to get in. Don't just take my word on it, here's the official word from 13th Floor themselves...

Upon arriving each group (NOT each person) is given ONE glowstick. After all participants sign a waiver of liability, the group enters the 13th Floor in total darkness where monsters and mayhem await.

It is up to your group to find its own way out. There is no preset path. Inside the depths of the darkness a horde of monsters roam freely, equipped with the latest in night vision technology, ready to reap havoc upon all those that enter.

As you navigate your way through Blackout it is not uncommon for participants to get lost, separated from their groups, and/or have their glowsticks stolen by the terrors that lurk inside.

Sounds like a terrifyingly good time and they really do drive home the point that there is no set path, if you get lost, you get lost. They're not going to help you out and if you get separated from your group? Better hope you run into another group that's friendly...

Blackout runs from 7:30-10:30pm at both locations and tickets run $25 for general admission and $45 for the RIP fast pass option. No clue how busy they'll be, but I'm thinking probably not very...but ya never know.

For more information head on over to either the official 13th Floor Denver Blackout or 13th Floor Phoenix Blackout website!
