[Haunts] Castle Blood Announces Love and Death 3 Details! (Updated!)

Just a few minutes ago (literally) on their Facebook page, Castle Blood in Monessen, PA announced their plans for their Valentine's Day weekend show, Love and Death 3, which runs Friday, Feb 14th and Saturday, Feb 15th. Not only are the scares and sarcasm back in full force for this one, this year's event also comes with a bit of a twist and one that you're sure to want to stick around for, it's really that cool. More on that in a couple.

This year's Valentine's Day show, Love and Death 3, promises to take visitors to the castle on a trip like no other out there. Curious of what's in store for this year's event? Here's a little idea from the event's website (don't mind the dates being off):
Love is in the air. hmm, I wondered what that smell was. Join us for a scary look at Valentines Day, relationships, and the truth of till death do us part. If you're finished with all that mortal kissy smoochy romantic stuff, come take this special scary tour and learn the truth.

Love and Death, Revenge of the Heart

Is a cynical, sarcastic look at this human tradition, and how only we are truly capable of declaring someone their immortal beloved.
This year Gravely and the crew behind this most unique and unusual haunt are going to be co-sponsoring a masquerade ball and spaghetti dinner on Saturday night. Everyone that buys their tickets in advance online and the first 50 who purchase in person at the ticket booth on Saturday night will get this event for, ready for this? FREE!

Yes, you heard that right, it's included with the purchase of your castle tour ticket if you do so as listed above. They always have great deals, but this one's amazing in and of itself. The dinner event is BYOB and in addition to the masquerade and dinner, they'll have also have a live DJ. Once the castle closes for tours, after 10pm, the denizens will be coming over to hang out with everyone and be handing out the costume contest awards as well.

UPDATE 1/22: There's a special deal over on Facebook for their Nightmare Passes, buy two Nightmare Passes for only $40! That's only $5 more a person and it gets you and the other ticket holder a t-shirt, entry to the tour, a limited edition pin and if you're pre-ordering for Saturday night, the dinner and masquerade as well! Check out the rest of the details here!

It's too of a good deal to pass up and there's no way that I couldn't update this one to share that with anyone that's interested in going. That on top of everything is just crazy good value. So, there ya have it!

UPDATE 1/25: The deal on the two tickets for $40 above is now over. I'm sure they'll have something else, but you can still get access to the free dinner by pre-ordering regular or nightmare pass tickets for Saturday!

This sounds like way too much fun and while any visit to Castle Blood is always a deviously good time, it just adds so much more to the mix. So, if you were already planning to go (like we were), this is an opportunity you definitely don't want to pass up. Never been to the castle before and looking for some different this Valentine's Day? Check out our review of their Halloween show and their Spooky Little Cryptmas show, but take it from me, even if you don't read them, just go as it's an awesome time. It truly is a great show with a great cast and remember to have fun with it. The more you're into things, the more you'll get out of it!

More information about the event and a dedicated event page will be available in the coming week, so stay tuned as I'll be sure to update this post (or make a whole new one) when that happens. For more info about the haunt in general check out the official Castle Blood website for dates, hours and the like. For more can always follow them via their main Facebook page or the one specific to the event as well!
