[Anime] New Macross Series Coming Soon!

Another out of left field announcement, seems to be a lot of those going on recently. However, unlike the others being for series ending, this one's for a new beginning.

The re-run of Macross Frontier came to a close on Weds night. Not surprisingly, but at the end came a teaser saying that an all new Macross series will be coming out soon. Nothing else, just that.

It's definitely a little strange, but then again, what hasn't been lately?

I know many fans will be looking forward to this as it's not only an iconic series, but it's also one of the longest running out there. At 32 years and counting, nothing seems to be able to keep the venerable run down for long. While there have been a couple of movies and other projects, it's been about 8 years since a new series was launched.

Going to have to stay tuned on this one to see what comes of it. For now, speculate away!
