[Haunts] Universal Hollywood Announces Audition Dates and Info for Halloween Horror Nights 2014

With just a couple of months to go until opening night, Universal Hollywood has announced this year's Halloween Horror Nights audition dates. As per the usual they are seeking scare-actors of all types to fill the roles of various monsters within the park and also stilt walkers. They're also looking for male and female dancers to portray vampires and Go-Go dancers during regular park hours as well.

So, if you've ever wanted to work for a theme park haunt, get over to the Universal Hilton as auditions will be held on July 17th and 18th for actors/stilt walkers and for dancers, that one's on August 1st. Since all auditions are by appointment, I urge you to go and check out their Official Audition Page here so you can schedule a time and see what else they're looking for and what to expect when you get there.

These auditions, like at Universal Orlando are done in groups and you get to show off what you've got in front of not only them, but the audition panel as well. During this time you definitely don't want to go all crazy and lose control. Make it appear that you're that way? Sure, but don't actually do it! Also, do not show up in costume or with props, they're not looking for that and I assure you...they've got everything they need to outfit you once you get the role.

One of the odder things that I caught this year was that being 6'2" or taller was a plus for some roles (not all by any stretch!). Just what are they planning for such tall folks around? Guess we'll have to wait and see on that one as I'm definitely scratching my head a bit with that one. I've only dealt with Universal Orlando in the past, so maybe this is a common thing with Hollywood? Who knows.

To all you hopefuls out there, break a leg and get yer scare on!
