[Haunts] Audition Info for Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando Now Out!

News from Universal Orland today, auditions for scare-actors for this year's Halloween Horror Nights and their Bill & Ted's show are going to be underway very soon. Unlike out in Hollywood, the folks down in Orlando usually have auditions once week during the month of July. Lots of days there to get in on one of the craziest Halloween events out there.

So, what are they looking for? We got ya covered.

Scareactors and Stilt Walkers
  • All those who aspire to scare can audition to be a part of the nation’s premier annual Halloween event.
  • Requirements: Male and Female Performers of all body sizes and types. Stilt Walkers must have previous stilt walking experience.
Having worked as a scare-actor for Universal Orlando in the past, I can say that audition process isn't really that bad. You're taken into the room in groups and asked to perform in front of the audition panel. Best advice? Don't show up in costume and listen to what they're looking for. Feed off the nervous energy if you have to and just roll with it!

Pop Culture Icons
  • Performers who resemble and can spoof famous persons for Halloween's biggest comedy parody show are welcome to audition.
  • Requirements: Male and Female Actor/Dancers of all body types. Come dressed and prepared to impersonate your famous celebrity icon of choice.
Contrary to the advice I just gave, seems like they want folks to look the part somewhat and that makes a bit of sense there in this case. Obviously this is a casting call for the hilarious and daring Bill & Ted's show, so don't be afraid to push things a little!

All hopefuls should head over to the official Universal Orlando audition site for more info and to register a profile on their Career Profile page so that you can get word of exactly when the next audition will be!
