[HHN24] A Look Behind the Scenes of The Walking Dead Maze at Universal Orlando

While the plan for Universal Orlando to unveil what one of their original mazes for this year fell through, they still dropped a little more info for fans out there regardless.

Halloween Horror Nights Orlando's Twitter account (@HorrorNightsORL), handled by HHN Creative Director Mike Aellio, posted up a few pictures showing the progress so far. Also, a little glimpse at a completely original maze coming this year as well. Curious, eh?

Two of the pictures are related to their massive The Walking Dead maze that's being built in Sound Stage 25 and will be twice the size of anything they've ever built. The facade is even being built on the outside of the building to give them even more room to work with on the inside of the sound stage as well.

So, with that, let's get on with the pictures. Both of the construction shots are from the "Big Shot" area of the maze. Not entirely sure what that means, and since it's construction there's not a lot to really see here. However, it's a cool glimpse into the process.

And one last shot from something completely new and original for this year's Halloween Horror Nights 24 at Universal Orlando. Any clue as to what this one could be? I'm at a total loss!
