[Cons] Anime North Sells Out of $50 Weekend Badges in less than a Day

Well, didn't see that happening so quickly. It appears that the rush was on for the lowest ticket prices of the year for 2015's Anime North. The first 5,000 full weekend badges are gone. Yep, that's right...completely sold out. It seems that attendees were quick to snatch up the limited number of $50 tickets for this year's event, like really fast. It took less than a day for them to run out. Yikes.

Not to worry though, the bulk of the remaining 10,000 weekend badges are still available at $60 and should be around for a bit longer than the first batch of tickets. The other good thing? Prices won't be going up from here on out either.So, no need to remember a date for when the change happens like in the past.

Overall, the "first come, first serve" system that they've put into place seems to have worked pretty well, as selling that many badges that fast is pretty insane.We'll see how fast the rest of the remaining badges last for, could be over pretty quick at this rate!
