[Haunts] Lullaby Brings All New Nightmares at the Queen Mary's Dark Harbor in 2015!

News out of Long Beach's premier haunted attraction, Queen Mary's Dark Harbor this morning. It was announced a little while back, but this year they're adding a whole new terrifying maze to the mix of things that will surely be a playfully frightening time. Every year the creative minds behind Dark Harbor seem to up the ante a little more, and this year is no exception to that at all.

The new attraction? Lullaby.

"Lullaby will take fear-seekers on a terrifying voyage with Dark Harbor’s youngest soul, Scary Mary, who has haunted the Queen Mary ever since her horrific drowning in the poolroom in 1952. Mary was a bad seed from birth. Before her death, mysterious tragedies and unexplained occurrences seemed to follow in Mary’s wake. She isn’t looking for just one playmate; she wants a whole playground of souls to play with in the afterlife. She can be spotted throughout Dark Harbor, but the poolroom of the ship is her playroom. One must proceed through Lullaby with caution, as it may be the last journey through Dark Harbor as a mortal soul."
That just sounds delightfully twisted, doesn't it? Not only are they going to show off what's argued to be the most haunted spot of the ship, the First Class Pool area, but what's better than have the spirits of angry kids around?

Seriously, one of the creepiest things to people is screwed up little kids. I don't know what it is, maybe it's the fact that kids are already a bit weird on their own but toss in the fact that they're dead or demonic and things just go off the rails. Really going to be interesting to see what folks think of this one after they get through it.

This year's Dark Harbor event kicks off on October 1st and runs select nights through November 1st. Tickets start at $24, but if you get there between 7pm and 8pm, you can save a few bucks and get in on the "Happy Hour" option for just $20 for the whole night. Not a bad deal there.
