[Anthrocon]/24 Hours til the Furvasion!

Well, it's that time of year again, the second announcement on Pittsburgh news stations that let you know summer is really here: "The Furries are back!". Yes, that's definitely how you know you're in Pittsburgh during the summer (along with the long standing "Kennywood's Open!" to start things off). So, with the inevitable furvasion that is already underway in downtown Pittsburgh and has been since yesterday, we'll be making our own way down tomorrow morning to cover the goings on this year!

Which, I have to say is pretty easy for us to do...we only live about 45minutes from downtown Pittsburgh. So, while many have to travel in...we never really leave, do we? Neat that. That said, we will bringing our friends Alex and Tim along with us...this will be their first ever Furcon, so that'll be interesting in and of itself for sure!

What can you expect? Well, if you've been around for previous coverage of events then expect a good bit of insanity as usual. If you haven't, well, not a lot gets posted up on the site here until we get back (though it has been known to happen from time to time), but you can always follow along with us via several other means until we get back to the den of debauchery and can start processing all of our material...

We will be on site pretty much the entire time and doing our best to cover as much as we can including (but definitely not limited to) the dance competition, fursuiting in general, the dances and also keep an eye out for special coverage of the Mercedes Lackey and Larry Dixon panels!

With three of us running about like crazy, there should be plenty of stuff flying about from us during the weekend. If there's anything you'd like to see, just let us know and we'll do our best to report on it!
