[HHN23] Resident Evil Confirmed for Universal Orlando's Halloween Horror Nights by...Publix?!

https://twitter.com/ExcellentHHNGuy
Well, there's news out there that Publix has gone and spilled the beans for the big reveal from Universal Orlando this week...apparently they've gone and put out tickets with Resident Evil on them in their stores. It's definitely legit as well. I don't like to spoil the surprise as much as the next person, but it's hard to ignore when I can't look at Twitter and not see it...

While the official announcement hasn't been made yet, there's a pile of evidence that points to it and while I've talked about it in a separate article, that was a bit more involved with the possibility of an 8th house being announced at all. Since we know that's happening, let's just get on with what we know already. First up? The proof is in the pudding...and they say a picture tells a thousand words. Well, here ya go then:

Ut oh, someone's not going to have a good day with this getting out there...
It's pretty much impossible to ignore that one...especially when you look at all the other evidence that's been put out there. Since we're here...let's go over that shall we? Most folks pretty much had figured this one out due to a lot of things. The first? This video dating back to sometime in May of this year which has pretty much shown every single house...

If that wasn't convincing enough, here we have another image that some eagle eyed fan out there picked up on as well. This time an almost direct comparison of the cabin in Resident Evil 4 and one shown via a video on the Evil Takes Root blog:

While I did say that I wasn't sure of this before, there are quite a few striking similarities going on between the two pictures that are very hard to ignore. I wasn't sure just on this evidence, but as you can see...it's starting to pile up here.

Ontop of that? We've got the final two pieces to the puzzle released by HHN Orlando's very own Twitter account. First up is a tweet that pretty much was the final nail in the coffin:

On top of this they released another blurry image that looks an awful lot like Jill Valentine in her STARS uniform just last night:

All of this, combined with the video at the top had everyone pretty much thinking Resident Evil the whole way along...the screw up by someone at Publix just seals the deal and unless there's going to be a massive switch at the last minute (read: highly unlikely) you can expect Resident Evil to be hitting this year's Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando.

UPDATE 8/27/13: Yeah, I think this pretty sums it up...if Publix hadn't leaked it, I think this would've sealed the deal for everyone anyway...

Again, there's been no official announcement of this but it definitely looks like this is the 8th and final house for this year's event. So, until midnight on 8/29, stay tuned as we bring you all of the latest information!

As always check the Universal Orlando official Halloween Horror Nights website for everything ya need (or our own mega post with tons more info and behind the scenes stuff) and of course you can follow me on Twitter @KitsuneHazard and Google+ for all the latest updates!
