They really aren't wasting much time with getting all this stuff out there and I can't really blame them. Only about a month left until things go live...
I think we're up to what? Four or five mazes now out of Hollywood...I think that's right. Anyway, this'll definitely get guests' blood pumping for this year's event! One of the most requested houses to return from last year has done just that...get ready for one helluva party with Monsters Remix: Ressurected!
"The Universal classic monster movies of the 1920s, '30s and '40s defined the horror genre and inspired generations of filmmakers," said John Murdy, Creative Director, "Halloween Horror Nights"."For 'Halloween Horror Nights,' we reimagined classic characters and placed them in a rave-like environment - a present day 'Monster Mash'. It proved to be a fan favorite last year, and in 2013 there will be some exciting new twists."Curious what the inspiration was for this, well Murdy had a bit on that for those on Twitter as well,
"A couple of years ago I discovered the horror inspired music ofDefinitely interesting to see this coming back for another round, but it really was very much a crowd favorite and Murdy particular loved this one as well. That said, a while back HHN Hollywood had a little monster design contest. Guess what? The winning design will be prominently featured in UMR Resurrection! He gave a little hint as to just what the winning design was as well, "Even though he's "invisible" you can't miss him. He's taking over the DJ station in the Lab."@ImFigure, EDM music based on our classic horror icons! Dug it instantly! [For this year] I've asked Figure to do the entire score for Monsters Remix, including composing some new tracks...can't wait for you to hear em." Apparently he really digs Figure's music,"Being a Universal Classic Horror fanatic, I love the music he's created based on our Monsters! U can check it out at https://www.facebook.com/IMFIGURE"
In addition to this the winner of the Face-off episode "Future Frankenstein" (airs on August 20th), will have their Frank and Bride featured in the maze as well.
UPDATE: Here's what Frank and Bride will look like in the maze!
Pretty cool that they're including some fan creations in this one and something that I personally like to see. After all, with the legions of HHN faithful, the event wouldn't be much of what it is now would it?
As always, for more info, check out Halloween Horror Night Hollywood's official website for more info!
