Yep, that's right folks. If you haven't pre-registered for a weekend badge, that time has come and gone. Anime North announced a few hours ago that they're completely sold out of the 15,000 full weekend badges that they had available. So, if you were planning to attend the full weekend, you'll have to buy badges for each day at this point in time.
Why is this so? Well, unlike many other conventions out there, Anime North has an attendance cap. It's not a bad thing either, because it allows them to stay in the same location (which is awesome btw) and stay manageable for their hard working staff. That and if you didn't know that you were going by this point, there aren't really many hotel rooms left either. Better to plan ahead the next time around, eh?
That said, there are still single day badges available for those looking to get in on things at this late stage in the game as well. So, here's the rates for them if you're feeling brave, but don't wait too long as quantities are limited only 5,000 for each day!
- Friday-only Admission $35 CDN/USD
- Saturday-only Admission $45 CDN/USD
- Sunday-only Admission $35 CDN/USD
