Well, this year's theme may have been the Roaring Twenty, but there was nothing vintage about the dances at Anthrocon 2016. Sure, things started off with a crazy set of electro-swing but it was the lighting that really stole the show this year. I've never seen a more comprehensive lighting and sound package at a con before and I have to hand it to the Anthrocon Dances team for putting together an absolutely stunning set up.
I really wish I would've been able to get video of it this year, because it was just that good and still pictures only do so much justice. Oh well, here's to hoping that next year they go even bigger. Wait, is that even possible? If not, it should be.
That said, I didn't catch all of the DJs this year, but I did still manage to rock out with quite a few of them. As is per the tradition, here's the first set of pictures from Rigel's electro swing set during the the 2016 Anthrocon Dances!
