Well, it was only a matter of time before someone got some footage of this out there in the wild and it turns out that we only had to wait for the unveiling at New York Comic Con for it to happen.
So, without any further ado...have the trailer for the Evil Dead remake, out April 12th, 2013.

Now that you've seen it, there's a lot different in that trailer than what fans of the original may remember. Hell, it actually looks like parts of Evil Dead and Evil Dead II are involved with this one as well as a larger cast being around, rather than just Ash. Also, who is that girl about to cut her hand off? What's going on with zombie like creatures? So many questions!
Definitely should be interesting to see more and maybe a higher quality version of it in the months to come, but for now...this will do.
