Well, I was wondering what the crew from Brighton Asylum had up their sleeves for the 2016 season, and it seems that while most of the event remains mostly unchanged, there is a special event coming where you'll get to splatter zombie brains to your hearts content. Assuming you survive that is...
Zombie Attack is billed as a "live action zombie shooting adventure" and is only running on Thursday, October 13th and Saturday, Nov 12th from 6pm to 11pm within the confines of the Asylum. A two night run is really short, and I'm guessing that many are going to wish this one would be offered a bit more, but could be enough as well, who knows. Either way, if you're looking to get in on the action, space is definitely limited and you'll want to get tickets pretty quick.
"Zombie Attack is unlike any other form of entertainment you have experienced before. You and your team of 4-5 will be armed with full weight, metal body replicas of actual M4 rifles. Then, after a brief training, you will be sent inside Brighton Asylum to take on the undead. Pull the trigger for a real recoil, muzzle flash, and loud bang!
And always remember,…AIM FOR THE HEAD!"
Okay, that sounds pretty damn awesome if you ask me. I'm not sure what system they're using, and I can't be 100% positive on this, but it sounds somewhat similar to what Biohazard: The Real at Universal Japan used for their event. Either way, sounds like it's going to be one helluva thing to experience first hand.
Not sure if this is one that we'll get a chance to see later this season, but one never knows, and we hope to get to Brighton just to experience the regular haunt finally too.
