A look back, a look forward, and there's something under the couch...

2016 was a crazy year on a ton of levels. Not only for the site here, but also for myself personally. A lot of things accomplished, and a lot of things not so much fully realized. But, before I get to all of that, you may want to get a little comfy. Grab a drink and and relax, I'll just hang out here for a few, go on.

Back? Ah, okay, good. Let's get this going, shall we?

First thing's first. Some of you likely noticed, things have changed as far as the staff around here. No longer is Alex a member of the team, her life has become very busy and while she still attends a lot of the events we do, it's under different circumstances and that's cool.

Carrie and I have also decided to mostly part ways, this is both in our personal lives as well as with our blogs. Will we do things together in the future? I have no doubt on that, but it won't be nearly as much as in the past. We're still friends and all, but just needed to go our own ways for a variety of reasons.

As for the rest, the team is pretty much the same! So, not much change on that front, other than Fil's apparent extended role in things during the months of Sept and October for Haunt Tour. That's pretty cool actually, and a very welcome change to things I think.

Still, the team is pretty thin these days and leaves myself mostly on point for a lot of the events and trips that the Kverse site covers. That proved to be a pretty big challenge in 2016 and I've learned quite a few things from that. A lot of things didn't get fully finished, or even started, and my apologies for that immensely. Not only to you guys, but also the events and businesses I go to. Going to have to work on that more going forward.

So just where are things going? Great question!

 I have no fuckin' idea. 

The point of this whole thing here was to chronicle the weird happenings in my life and the industries and events I care about/are a part of. Somewhere along the line I think that maybe that was missed a little and figuring out just what I want out of this, as well as my own life, has taken a surprising amount of time. Who knew? Top that off with living on my own for the first time in a long while and a whole lot of other changes with me and it's been one crazy as hell year.

Oh, yeah...there's no denying that.

I've been without food, close to losing a place to live, and a whole host of other things. The most obvious, my transition that started earlier this year and continues to go at a good clip! Hoping the other stuff stablizes a bit, I do like to eat, really, it's a great thing.

Where things go from here? I have no real idea. I'm starting to get a feel for my little adopted city that is Pittsburgh, and I'm farther along with my own personal journey. What impact those things will have in the future is unknown. However, the name of the site is Kitsuneverse and that means everything that's going on in my little world, right? So expect some more "off topic" things to pop up.

Though, can they really be off topic? I'm not even sure what's real anymore! Help!

Anyway....I also plan to do some reorganizing to the site as a whole too, but we'll see if I get to that or not. I probably will, and likely much later than planned, but it will happen!

Enough rambling, I could go on forever about things here right now if I let myself, so I'll just stop. Stay tuned, going to get things back on track and headed in new directions for this year and where we end up? Nobody knows, but it's gonna be one helluva ride!

Oh, and what's under the couch? A cat. Yep, that's right.
